The issue was that, let's be honest... our old brand was a bit too safe. We decided we looked more like a lawyer's practice than the creative marketing agency that we truly are. So, we flipped everything on its head.
Marketing is meant to be the fun part of business isn't it? We took this thought along with the fact that we take ideas and make them into something real and applied it to our brand. The marque consists of a single shape arranged in different ways to depict the K, S and M. We then felt that it would be fun to actually make them into a real 3d logo as so often logos remain flat. So, that's what we did! The KSM logo is what we like to call a Chameleon logo. It works on all colours and in all settings. It shows how we work.
Taking our brand and moving it on a stage gave us the opportunity to turn it into something real. We created 3 dimensional blocks and photographed them in a range of settings, using different colours and approaches to show the flexibility. We added props and created stop motion videos to build content that can be used across a variety of media successfully. At the heart of it was the fact that we tried to capture humour and make sure that we had fun during the process. The most fun aspect was the homage to Jackson Pollock/The Stone Roses.
